hey guys i sold my w211 last week and bought a w209 2 days ago. i like to think of myself as a bright guy but for some reason everytime i take my key out and open the door it literally alerts me and "BEEPS" until eterinity telling me that "dont forget your key". for some reason i cant stop it and i dont think its beyond my understanding since i never had this prob in any other BMW or MBZ that i ever had.. any ideas???

 

it's a reminder so you don't forget your key in your car because you have keyless go.

You can push the up or down arrow on the steering wheel to silence it... until next time. I took the fuse out of the door warning indicator on my last car, but I dont think we are so lucky on our CLK's.
