Hello Gang!
I am interested in buying from an independent dealer a 2007 CLK63 Cabrio that was a MB buyback. (Dealer said there were several issues with car that were not fixed in a timely fashion, so MB had to buy it back. MB then fixed (refurbished) all issues before the dealer purchased it.) Dealer says it still is under 4/50k warranty (it has 22k miles on it). Any advice from someone with experience with this type of transaction would be greatly appreciated. Also, does anyone have access to carfax or MB vehicle service history that they may be willing to share? Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Autocheck/car fax won't help you much with the service record.
If the dealer stands behind the car, he'll show you the complete service history.
MB lemon law cars routinely go through auction, which are then repurchased by private dealers and franchise dealers. They are run in a separate group from non-lemon cars with a disclosure in the front dash. Either way, the dealer purchased this car at a huge discount. This car has to be a killer-killer bargain for you. Otherwise, run away.
