Finally, someone who knows how to detail.

Car looks great. While I don't detail all of my cars myself due to time constraints, I love the feeling of knowing it was done right. I once spent 18 hours over 3 days detailing my Porsche... wash, clay, polish, and 1 or 2 coats of One Grand Blitz. One guy ridiculed me for spending that much time on it, even though I had not polished/waxed it for the previous 2 1/2 years. These are the same people who wax garage queens every 3 months. So they spend 3 hours 4 times a year = 30 hours doing what I did in basically half that time, yet they still got on my case... Something that bakes in the elements every day needs a completely different detailing schedule than something that is not.

OP: do you have any other pics that aren't photoshopped? Did you tint your head lights?

...but when I take her out... she's shines like no other.

Since I bought the car last May (2009), I have applied some 55 layers of wax.
The shine on my car really has to be seen to be believed.

The wax I use is by Finish Kare. The #2685 wax.
It is a layering wax.
Multiple layers work to develop a deep, crystal-clear shine.

Damn near gave myself arthritis in my wrists, but it was worth it. lol

I also apply Finish Kare #425 the day after waxing. Usually 2 or 3 coats.
This #425 leaves a ridiculously slippery surface. Even more so than the wax!!

Wow, that is a sweet looking CLK63. The detailing and wax work is amazing. A true example of cleaning a car right, no photoshop needed!!

i got them off this site called rvynil.com and had the guys who did my windows apply it for a perfect fit.. only temporary though.. I'm gonna get the housings painted black and I wanna get 07+ tails with white parts smoked

I find if you can wash the car, wax it, drive it without getting rained then wash it again to rinse of the dust and wax it again. if you do this a a few times without driving on wet streets the car really shines! All the fine curves & beauty really get noticed by people especially at night.
