W209 CLK55 HID?
hi all,
for the W209's, was HID/xenon an option and not included? i thought at $80k+, this was std but in looking at my options list, I just noticed it didn't have it. how many of you guys have it vs. not?

I think as with 208's they were optional - certainly would have lamp washer's if they were fitted (in Uk by legal requirement apparently)
Mine doesn't have Comand or Xenons - not that I'm too bothered - more things to go wrong - have fitted brightest standard bulbs (can't remember what make etc) and use Blackberry and nav apps on that - usually Find and Go which is brilliant and far better than my friend who has CL55AMG and Comand which looks a bit basic - not great in London etc.

Thx Klinh - I wonder how many people have it on the forum here, the HIDs on W209. Klinh - your profile pix looks VERY bright and white - is that HID, or after market? I may be interested in upgrading, but the last thing I want to is to risk getting "error" codes for the bulbs not matching the stock.

C63s Cabriolet, BMW M4, Civic
My car came loaded from the factory. My stock HID were 4500k but I switched it out with aftermarket bulbs 8000K and 8000K bulbs for the foglights also. No errors code on both mods.
