Personally, I think these are some of the best cars AMG has made. For the United States, it was the 1995 C36 that started it all - from a production car standpoint. This enthusiast group can be the means to express your pride in your AMG, never mind the fact that each of our engine builders remains unknown.

I find it strange that the factory never kept track of who made what engine. Don't you think they would want to keep that kind of info somewhere just in case someone was messing up really bad. Then they could trace the engine back to whoever built it. Does each engine have a serial number somehwere on it? Maybe they kept track of it that way if not by the VIN#
