I NEED new KEYS!!
Hey all,
So my 55 came with two old nasty black remotes and they have got to go!
I have keyless go and was wondering how to go about changing these horrible keys.
1. If I find a remote that has already been programmed, can it be reset and re programmed to function with my car?
2. A friend of mine gave me a new remote (not the new new ones), the blade is cut so im pretty sure its useless but he tells me the remote can be set for my car. TRUE OR FALSE?
As soon as I get new keys I plan on installing the remote starter that midcityengineering offers. I've heard a lot of good things about their products and the fact that I can start my car with my Droid is pretty cool. Anyone has this installed?
I heard Viper and midcityengineering offer something as well as Compustar but im not familiar with any of the two, which would you recommend?
