W209 CLK55 ECU tune
Hello everybody,
I have a question, if ECU tune for my W209 CLK55 is worth it?
I can get a special price and is really a great deal.
They claim to get 390hp comparing to original 367hp and 592NM comparing to stock 510NM(that is 437lbf·ft comparing to 376lbf·ft stock).
I am very skeptical about the numbers. What do you guys think? Worth it on an N/A engine, or better not do it?
My only "peformance" upgrade is quad exhaust with secondary cat delete and muffler delete, replaced with magnaflow resonated x-pipe in the place of 2nd cats. So far the car is stock.

The torque is kinda high. Who's tune is that? I really think a tune is worth it even on a na motor. I'm getting one from Eurocharged and i'll know soon!
If you already have the exhaust work done then that would be the next step. good luck!

Thanks everybody for your replies. The torque seems high to me as well. But maybe im gonna give it a try.
Sorry guys, not in US, they are situated in Czech republic
Thats like two hour drive from my city in Slovakia. Their reputation is quite good in our area and they have 50% off this month.
I wasn't sure if a tune on N/A car is worth it, but relating to your replies i guess i will do it.

no cats
We call no cats a test pipe or off road use only thing up here in the northern part of the US - my '93 mustang is situated as such - we do not have inspections up here.

Should i go better with short tube or long tube headers? I don't plan any forced induction in the future with this car.

I Have also CLK 55 2003 model,I took it to dyno test when she was stock she gave me 380hp,i could claim it again to reach 396hp with 435ft-lbs.
But The thing is that everything still original, resonator not delete it,but the filers are K&N and the car is full serviced with a very excellent condition ! I've raced with the same car that has my same file and still i moved her 2-3 cars!
N.B : I've raced with 2 cars that has eurocharged tuned, one of them is clk55 and the 2nd is C32 and both of them i ate them :P

A tune is tempting...
is it a problem if I have Sprint Booster?
Is it a better tune If I have no resonator and changed for high flow cats...
Do the tuner needs to know this info before the tune?
