Question '04 CLK500 TCU Conductor Plug Location? See pics! HELP!

Hi,

I'm having issues with gear shifting. Check Engine Light would turn on after a loud "thud" noise shifting, restarted car and no problem. Now the CEL came on and wont turn off, car doesn't accelerate out of 1st gear, does 60km @ 3000rpm and 80km @ 4,000rpm etc, tiptronic doesn't work and wont switch from "S" to "C".

I read as many posts as I could. So I wanted to check the conductor plug for ATF and clean it, so I thought the TCU unit and Conductor Plug were in the passenger seat foot well (see my pictures).. I think I found the TCU but not the plug? The plug where the arrow is pointing are just enclosed wires and I lifted up the car and still couldn't see it from underneath.

HELP?!?

1. Where is the "conductor plug" located? pics would help me.
2. If that's not the TCU in the pic, where can I find it?
3. How do I know if my car has the Valeo rad?

And the white label of the box in the pic that i THINK is the tcu (lol) has the following info if it helps:
SIEMENS: A032 545 13 32
EGS52
5WP2 0005DR

Update: I found the "conductor plug" by following the wire from inside the passenger foot well to underneath the car. The little ******* is hidden nicely under the metal plate.

Did I do it right?

1. I Unplugged the male end.
2. then, unscrewed the female end.
3. Pulled the female end out.
4. Wiped and Cleaned with electrical spray both male and female (both covered in ATF).
5. When I unscrewed and pulled out the female end, the socket where the female ends screws into was covered in ATF as well (is this socket suppose to pooling with ATF?). I put a clean rag in the socket to soak up the ATF, but it seemed like every time I dried it, it would pool with ATF again. After about 5 minutes and ATF still pooling,
6. I screwed the female back in.
7. then, plugged the male back into her.

Problem is still present.

Is the socket in step 5 suppose to be pooling with ATF? What should I do next? I would think it is NOT suppose to be pooling with ATF, as cleaning the female/male parts would then be useless if they're getting covered in ATF right away.

Gave up for the night.

A little tricky working in the driveway with bootleg jacks/ramps
