Brother is looking at a 2005 CLK55 With a high clock things to look out for?
So my brother just called he found a "EDIT" It's a 2003
2003 CLK55 Silver/Black with 84k on the clock he can get the car for $13.400 me and him is going to look at it on Monday. just wondering if there's any thing we should look after? dealer said. They will replace all 4 rotors and pads and it has brand new Hankook V12 Tires on her. Also a very clean CarFax Any help will be greatly appreciated!

I assume no warranty so a few things that will most likely be bad or need replacement soon:
Motor Mounts
Crank Position Sensor / Cam Position Sensor
Valeo Radiator
Rotors
See if there are any records showing service of these commonly failed items.
Have the car inspected independently (not at the selling dealership), check engine codes, make sure it will pass emissions, make sure no leaks, check engine oil trans oil for problems..... if you're so inclined full leak down check or comp check of cyls....
Also suspension bushings will likely need replacement at that mlg.. mine needed it after only 23k miles.

Also check out the seat heaters, it is common for them to go out. If you are not mechanically inclined, I would suggest forking over 200 dollars for a mercedes dealer look over it.
If it is at a no name dealer (I.E. Jimmy's fine autos, Streamline Used car lot), I would not buy it.

84K Isn't too bad if it's maintained properly. I bought mine at 96K. Granted it's an 01' but I had to replace tires, brakes, and recently the water pump due to wear. The rest I've dealt with is all regular wear maintenance. Nothing out of the ordinary. Very reliable cars when looked after.
