The pic's are very nice. I'm a big fan of the last one. How did you enjoy the track? What was your top speed and what mods do you have done?

track is really fun with lots of opportunity to go fast. 3.27 mi course 4000ft back straight.

unfortunately it was a charity event and not a ***** out event but i did manage to squeak out 135 on the back straight.

mostly appearence mods; not really worried about performance since it is already a fun car to drive however some of the mods do serve purpose:

wider wheels for better grip, front bumper with lip for better front downforce and to help with the front end lift i was getting at high speeds, h/r springs to also counter lift by reducing ride height and slightly improve handling with better spring rates, k/n filters and all 4 cats gutted pretty much cover performance.

just looks:

smoked led tails, smoked w209 sidemarkers, smoked mirror markers, smoked fog lights, ash try decal, rear view mirror decal, clk 55 badge delete on trunk, hid headlights, hood bagde, amg pedals, and grill.

next is a multi-purpose mod(look, sound, downforce and performance):

new rear bumper w/diffuser for little more downforce and true dual catback exhaust at same time.

-most pricey

looking back i should of.....would you guys allow me to join since it seems the mb owners of the area dont seem to track their cars?

i am workoing on a little something tho. i spoke with the marketing manager from a local mb dealer to encourage them to help establish a prescence out there. I want to start with charity events and work up to others. hopefully they get exposure and i get some kind of sponsorship but what i really want is to put more benz's on the track so im not so lonely.

i remember seeing a r8 coming off the trailer and got a pic of a yellow racecar resembling a dytona prototype or something.

ANY club will be more than happy to have you at their events. With the economy the way it is, most clubs are having a hard time filling their events.
With regard to getting more MB's involved, I can tell you it's not going to happen. There is an MB event at VIR every June, and while they get close to 100 cars (of all types), hardly any MB's show up!!!!!
Anyway, the season is pretty much done for this year, but I hope i will get to see you on track next spring
