I have a 2005 clk55 amg, the keyless entry stopped working on the drivers side door, and most recently has been failing on the passenger door, causing the locking mechanism to not work. which results in the passenger door not locking. I also cannot close the door because it wont latch onto the doors lock when trying to close it.
has anyone else had this problem? what should I do to get it fixed?

I don't know where you live but I'd find a good indy shop, if you can't find one, you may have to go the dealer; which isn't always bad: it's always expensive......but hey,
it's for a good cause....
it does seem to be an annoying problem....
good luck eh

Yeah i'lll have to get it checked out, just curious to what the issue may be. Yes, I'm dreading the day this happens while I'm on a date.
driverside keyless on mine wasn't working, I had to replace the door handle which was ~$130 from mymercedesparts.com When I took it apart it was obvious the 2 wires had frayed.
Very easy to take the handle off. There is a single torx screw (T30 ?) behind the weather stripping on the inside edge of the door. Removing the screw allows you to pull the tumbler for the physical key out, then you can pull the handle out.
It is sort of a ***** to get the handle back in correctly. Will take a few tries.

Thank you! hopefully I can fix this issue before i have to take it to a repair shop.
The Real issue is the passenger side. because it becomes a dead door that wont close when I open it. it takes multiple tries to close the door.
