Trip to the Las Vegas Drag Strip (Video)
I took a trip to the Las Vegas drag strip in early December. I only had time for two runs and I used my iPhone to record this run by placing it between the seat and headrest. Recording worked pretty good for showing the light tree and lanes. The recorded run wasn't the best as my reaction time was .567 (as you can see in the video) and I had wheel hop resulting in a 60 ft time of 2.036. Trap speed was 111.72. Ran on 19"s with full tire pressure. Admittedly, the trap speed should have been better. I would have liked to take a few more runs to dial in better runs but had a good time while I was there.

What was your elapsed time?
Also next time experiment with the ESP off, and correct the wheel spin yourself.
Have fun. The sport is addicting. Trust me.

Thanks. I have been to the track before. Earlier in the year I went and discovered that my SC wasn't working because a relay was out. I got that fixed at the dyno shop and wanted to do some testing again before the end of the track season. Unfortunately, I just didn't have the time to do many runs. The only way you can run these cars is with the ESP off so that is what I do. That being said, I have new H&R springs and Bilstein Sport shocks going on next week. After reading betrezra's post on the Blower thread I will be changing my spark plugs and wires as it has been a few years. I am also replacing my Brembo rotors and pads on the front and rear.
