FFS, stop..

the DTM is NOT exclusive (adj. rare) compared to the GTR which was my reference and continues to be my reference.

If you can't understand this you have no business being here.

Unfortunately, that is another annotation that I have to disagree with you on. I, along with every other person on this forum, have as much right to be 'here' as you do kind sir.

I can see that I have amplified the burner under your pot, causing you to simmer a little. Therefore, I shall let you have the "DTM is not a rare car" altercation, since I mistakenly did not realize that you have 6 DTMs in your garage, making it a common, un-'rare' vehicle.

Lol, all good but interesting that the school boy thinks he has me out of sorts. The funny thing is he has no idea what I own yetis making assumptions.

Anyways, his school bus is likely waiting for him.

'school boy' is quite comical coming from someone that is having a hissy fit over the net don't you think? You talk about my assumptions, yet you proceed to assume laughable fictitious articulations about myself.

The reason I'm not at school yet is because I'm having quite the conundrum deciding which DTM to take.

I try to dispel the situation by 'giving you the bone' in your argument, yet you still find the need to keep bringing it up.....yet I am the school boy.

God bless you and your frivolous way of comprehension to ongoing matters.

of course no denial of being a school boy.

anyways it has been fun and I am glad you are convinced the dim is more rare or exclusive than the gtr.

you are still wet behind the ears here so I assume you will want the last word so go ahead, its all yours.

Ecamp - Your approach will drive people to primarily like you for your car. I've found taking the high road to be a righteous one I like your car!

betreza - I just can't figure out why he thinks the DTM is more exclusive that the GTR. The cars are of course both rare and my initial comment was made as I thought perhaps you had not heard of the gtr.

It was all meant in fun and is now the past.

Where in Texas are you?

Getting back to the original question asked. "you want the wide body look on your CLK". My answer is why not build your own wide body kit. I would have the fenders radioused out in the front to an inch and in the rear to two inches. The one cool part is that the fenders would be metal. I have seen many other types of car that have done what I have talked about and really changed the look of the car.
The front and back of the car would need a few changes to make it all work together. I would think you could find a rear defuser and have it molded into the rear bumper. The front you could add a CF splitter.

Its just my idea but let us know what you end up doing.

LOL thanks for the input brizzok84, something that actually makes sense instead of people having childish fights over whats rare and what not... It did make me realize that putting on a wide bodykit would make it something it isn't and the ideas that have been put up here (kevwood, thanks) are actually great. At this point my purchases have been:

07 taillights+ bulb holders
07 3-slat Grille
C63 AMG wheels
Comand upgrade system (Dynavin)

and with my CF business I will be having real carbon fibre as interior trim, probably redo my backpanels of my seats in CF, and the middle part of the back seat, but thats still to be decided.

also A CF lip is on the shopping list, and would like to see a bit more of those upgrade mirror covers with the arrow leds in them.

Noice! Those black wheels pop.
Kev has the line on clk style fo-sho!

A nicely done steel wide-body job on your car is pretty sweet too but big bucks.

yeah I do like his style, I'm much like him... the wheels on my car are not what I like though... not too sure about the black. That's why I bought a set of C63 wheels, not really been able to find pics of them on a silver clk but im sure they will look sweet.

A little heads up (if you have any warranty left).... I did not realize my drives side zenon auto-leveler was out until I hooked up DAS system at home. There are no codes for this on the dash (No CEL). So dealer is fixing under warranty. It's good to have your car checked out (by a trusted friend) using DAS..... the dealer never mentioned this item was broken (upon PPI purchase, or repeated trips to dealer for various service works).

All FYI>
