After 10 years and 35K miles I need to replace the filter. My supplier (AutohausAZ) implies that I should check the present filter to see if the connectors are as shown in their on-line photo. Is this really the case? They list a MANN and a BOSCH part and they are similar. What is going to fit?

Next... How do you know when it's time for the ball joints to be replaced? It's a bigger job than I want to do myself.

I used the Mann filter from Autohausaz because it says it's the OEM. It fit perfectly on my car. Check out this link for more detail and pictures:
