W208 Multiple Malfunctions
Hi Guys. I was driving the 208 tonight when the BAS light came on. A few seconds later, the ESP light came on as well. I took the car home and parked it. It drove as normal. When I tried to start it and put it in the garage, the shifter was stuck in the park position. I used the pen trick to manually put the car in gear. I have to get out the pen whenever I want to move the car. Are these problems related? Is this something I could fix or is this a dealer repair? (I have average mechanical skills). Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hope I am not confusing this with one of the other cars I've owned.

Yes its the brake light switch. Cheap fix. But the Throttle position sensor might be on the way out. I know this because when the switch was replaced the BAS,ESP light came on again.
