So my car arrived from the uk into new zealand and i wanted to get it complied. Now it turns out the registration of my car is going to be a pain. I thought the 2002 w209 clk55 was a euro4 compliant car but according to NZTA who complies the cars, its only a euro3.... this means I cannot register my car. I could do it as a euro3, but I need to prove that these cars were made in lower volumes than 20.000 per annum. anyone knows how I can prove it's a euro4 (if it is, i'm like 90% sure) or where i can find GLOBAL production numbers for the clk55... this will get my car complied and i will be ever thankfull!!!!

Best to contact MB directly, even a local dealer should be able to help you out if you let them know you'll be brining it in to them for service all the time...

Not sure if this will help your paperwork but the 02 clk 55 is w208 not w209.

Its a w209 europe got them late 2002. Kevwood... Thats the thing, i WORK at a dealership but the info is not available just hoping someone here knows some or a link to a webpage that shows anything about amg production...
