I like the CF mirrors, I was considering tem myself but I think I would leave the door mount body color. Your ride is looking deadly pal.

thanks Kev, tried the base in silver first but it looks very much like the mirrors are an aftermarket stick up onto the car... the C63BS we have here has the same setup as me from factory with black painted bases and I think it suits it better.... each for their own of course!!

really need to go and get my headlamp housings done soon... the chrome starts to annoy me.

Car's looking good! I've been looking at the C63 Rims for a while. Did you order them from the dealership?
Eyeing those CF mirrors too

Not hacking on you, I think they look good, i was just saying on my car (being white) id leave the base body color. I bet if you had some tint on the windows it would blend the mirror base in quite a bit.

Finishing my headlamp housings in black was & still is one of my favorite cosmetic mods, you'll be very happy when they're done.

Agree with kevin, the black mirror base looks totally out of place. Silver looks better.

Otherwise, car looks fantastic!

it is a point of discussion... of course I know your not being negative Kev, never implied that.. (i hope) From the side it actually flows exactly with the windowline, where with body coloured bases it is just 'put there because they didn't know where else to put it'. Ive had both and seen it. I do agree the car needs tints and that will possibly make this eye better in pics...

I had to import them from Australia as that's the only set I could find with fairly correct offsets for the W209. The OEM C63 wheels have a retarded offset for a CLK so I had to find another way. Got these replicas for about US$3000 including the tyres and shipping. Even now I am putting on 22mm spacers at the back.

I just choose to disobey the law. Full Tint around, including windshield

its illegal to tint anything on the front windows here.

I agree... it really needs it... can't say I'd be too keen to do the windscreen though haha

It really completes the car. did 35% on front, its not bad at night, and helps during the day when the suns blaring.

Plus it looks good
