Haha, 7hp is fairly marginal, 1-2 tenths of a second at best (assuming no other mods).

It's almost impossible to get 70 extra HP without forced induction on the BS. 40+ HP with a tune, intake, and long tubes.

With an extra 70 you are well under 4 seconds 0-60. Putting the power down is the big issue.

Sorry but I think it is possible, vaeth c63 (same engine) makes ~580HP, carlsson in sl63 (again same engine) ~600HP, and there's carlsson c63 with 636HP without P31(this is important since it is without sls internals, not sure about does it have, or not supercharger), although clk bs is also without sls internals.

For the CLK63 BS you can free up weight which will improve braking and handling aside from just acceleration.

Probably more expensive than adding horsepower but you could replace with lighter wheels, brakes, suspension, seats, battery, etc.

There is NO WAY to get an extra 70 HP from a clk Black without forced induction of one type or another. SLS internals or not. Having said that, 70 HP, assuming you can get the power to the ground would shave off no more than 2/10 of a second. Lets not forget that this is a 3800 lb car.........

Of course you can get more than an extra 70 hp without going the FI route.

Aftermarket heads alone can add more than 40 HP.

of course, you can also bore out the pistons and spend s hit load of money to get there. Maybe is hould have said that there is no reasonable cost effective way to get 70 Hp without FI.

Not everyone has unlimited funds Like The Campbell man............

The most cost effective way is to spend 2K on a nitrous system and call it a day!

I think 70 hp without FI, is absolutely possible.. I mean long tube headers can easily make 30+ whp alone.. Add a tune and intake and your right there.

I think this is enough, you should just try to search for them, as I mentioned theese cars in my previous post.
