Powerchip Install

Thanks to all the helpful members on this forum, I have already swapped a pair of K&N filters into my 01 CLK55 and had the dealer install #01 pads all around... and I've only had the car for 1 month!

I am now considering the "Powerchip." This requires that I remove the ECU myself and Fed-X it out to Powerchip in CA. Has anybody done this recently? Is the removal and replacement of the ECU something I could handle myself? I gotta admit, I am a bit nervous about yanking the computer out and shipping it half a nation away!

Many Thanks,

PDC

It's fairly simple to do. We have instructions that we send to all of our Powerchip customers. I would recommend doing the Powerchip ECU upgrade along with our underdrive pulleys. You will like the improvements they make.
