Questions

Its been awhile since i've posted but i've got a couple questions that I could use a little help with.

1.My brother got a new c63 and wants to replace his wheels with wider renntech ones, how much can he expect to sell his oem 18" amg rims for if they still have the crappy continental tires without much tread left?

2.I have keyless go in my clk55 and it seems like I have to replace the batteries in the key every year. Is this normal?

3.I've been having trouble with the drivers side door keyless go. I replaced my key batteries and all other functions/buttons work except for the drivers side. I think this is a fairly common issue but just wondering if there is an easy fix and if not what I can expect to pay at the stealership.

4.I've started to hear a noise coming from the ac vents whenever I have any air coming out. It subtle but it almost sounds like a little piece of paper flapping in the wind. Any ideas?

5.I've got a little oxidation on my headlights, what do you think is better, buying a kit and buffing it out myself or just paying a detailer to do it?

6.Another random question but will the rims from the c63 fit on my clk55 without modification? I have no idea about bolt patterns and what not.

7.Whats the best product for leather reconditioning?

8.I got this baby up to 163 the other day, so much for the 155 limiter. Without modifications other than a flash to delete the limiter, what will a clk55 cabriolet get up to?

I know its a lot and very random but thank you in advance for your helpful answers!

2. Once a year seems a bit too often, though I am about to replace my own after ~14 months, lol.

3. I had problems with my driver side keyless as well. Turns out the 2 wires running in the handle were fraying. I replaced the handle myself for ~$130

5. I've used this on my previous MB and 3 other cars with excellent results http://www.amazon.com/3M-39008-Headl.../dp/B001AIZ5HY

6. I'm pretty sure the offsets are going to be an issue.

8. Closed course I hope! You'd certainly go to jail for that
Are they OEM rims & correct rubber on it right now? An 8mph (5%) error at that speed from smaller profile tires/air pressure could certainly be possible.

HELP!!

Thanks for the reply, I appreciate the info.

Two days ago I was rear ended at an intersection and now my car is in the shop. I haven't gotten a full appraisal back yet but they have told me that I definitely have to have my whole rear bumper replaced. I just have the standard duel exhaust but do you guys suggest any other bumper besides the stock amg one?
