CLK 500 Hard Start 1st time in each day...
Hey Guys wondering if this happened with anyone,A cold Hard Start in the first time of the day , the car takes like 3-5 seconds for the engine to turn on, during this can hear the engine trying to start but seems something is making it hard to start before 3-5 seconds...CrankShaft Sensor changed like 2 months ago...What this could be ? I want to help my friend,he asked for a help...

I asked him again today,he has ecu tune,he told me when this thing started,he uploaded a different ecu file,and when he put it the problem disappeared...Then like 1 month again the same thing started again...

I have had a similar issue with high octane gasoline (race gas). Not sure if it was due to a higher ethanol content evaporating in the system after sitting or what. But on normal pump gas it has never done it. Good luck.

Sounds like the processor is loosing its NVROM like a battery connection or battery power to the ECM, The processor flash is not sticking, can be a bad ECM.
What chip and interface is he using?
