2006 clk 500 coupe
Electrical connector
Hi Guys , Im looking to remove the doors on my 2006 clk 500 to paint the jambs . Could someone tell me if the electrical connectors are in the door or the piller to disconnect from the car ? Thanks for any help

This is a good question, most of us go inside the door panel to work on a motor or switch or something, but never pay attention to the door removal process. I will be removing my drivers door panel soon and check into this.
Mabye some has the answer first. nobody knows.
I had the passenger panel off recently and found a lot of cables that do not join near the hinges, I would check under the kick panels first. I would remove the door panels for the re-paint regardless.
A bone yard might know as well.
