Water Leak

Hi Guys:

My 2002 55 has a leak on the passenger side carpet, I am 99.99% sure its from a clogged drain and a lot of debris has fallen on my car lately in addition to many rainstorms. This happened on my old W210 E55 and fried my TCU and A/C blower motor. This time I caught it right after the leak, I removed the floor mat, the heavy piece under the mat that was soaked and the piece under the glove compartment where it leaked through. I did notice the setup on the w208 was different from the w210 when I had everything pulled apart. I could not see the TCU, the placement of this unit must be different on these models?

So has this likely caused any damage? How to I fix this, any DIY's?

Thanks!!

Are you sun roof or cab?
A clogged AC drain might cause, It will be noticeable at all times when the AC is used. Have you removed and inspected the cabin filter?

I have not had this problem yet on the 208 but my 124 had a sunroof leakage problem. (rain and brushless car wash).
These cars were closely related in the late 90's.
