Haha, Well the Widebody has been completed, I just got all the electrical issues and other small things that were wrong resolved. Its going back to the paint shop for the final finish tomorrow. Toying with the idea of carbon fiber wrapping a few things (Front Lip, Vader Fins, and the Diffuser)(I know its not the real thing)
Next:
So I decided what I plan to do with the wheels. I will be keeping the originals however, there is a place here in the Bay Area that can rebarrel my current wheels. So I plan to have them custom fit them to this car.
After the wheels are completed I plan to upgrade the brakes to the 6pot AMG versions and of course new rotors as well.
Thats the plan for the cosmetics, For now another teaser photo
sounds like a good plan on the wheels...i'd like to see it finished with proper wheels because it looks off without the correct offset...
i wonder if the sarona BS kit is the same as the prior design because there close in price..

For the front wheels I found a solution for a friend who makes the Black Series conversion to his W209 CLK 500. We change the front wheel hubs and put the hubs from W204. They are plug and play and the wheel comes outside 16mm at each side. Also the hubs have 14mm bolts than the CLK 12mm. With the W204 hubs you can put the 6 pistons calipers from E63 or C63 with the monoblock 360X36 brake disks. These calipers are cheaper from W209's and not so rare. The only thing that you must do is to make holes where the caliper adapter bolt on from 12mm to 14mm, or to make new adapters in order to use the CLK 12mm bolts. With the new hubs there is no need for wheel spacers and also the W204 hub use 14mm for the wheel to bolt on. My friend also bought from ebay.de the Black Series OEM 19" wheels for front and rear with the right offset. For the back (each side) we put H&R 30mm spacers which placed with 12mm to the rear hub and the wheel placed with 14mm on the spacer. Ask your mechanic to check it.

I haven't updated this thread in a while, Here are some of the latest pics on how it sits... To me, this project is now 100% complete. Since we can now edit posts in MB, ill be fixing the broken pictures.
I change my original plan, and went with the factory MB Black series wheels. I cracked one of my HRE's and sourcing another one was a challenge, plus they still wouldn't have fit correctly
