Just purchased a 2001 CLK55 AMG Coupe.
I just picked this up. Wanted to know if there are any common issues to address as preventative maintenance. Also any known recall type issues to have the local stealership take a look at. I own a repair shop, so I will be doing any non-recall work.

If you follow the MB regular maintenance routine the car should do well. One preventative maintenance move worth doing is changing the transmission fluid even if the factory considered that to be unnecessary.
