2004 CLK55 AMG
electrical issue or ???
2004 CLK 55 AMG, does anyone have some advice please, I have been having constant problems with headlight out, then tail light out, then turn signal out, sometimes all at the same time, I have replaced all the bulbs multiple times, one time headlight will work, shut off car and then it doesn't? same for tail and turn lamps???

Hey Rig,
I cant advise you on your 209 but the 208 chassis had wiring issues in the headlight assembly. You have to open up the service cover and inspect for cracking insulation and burnt cables. The poor insulation might be shorting out and causing some of the grief.
Aftermarket headlights like projectors etc.. are known to burn the headlight switch assy around $400.00.
Aftermarket add on lighting should run off of a external relay, burnt and or cracked cabling should be re-insulated.
