Autocrossing
Hey everyone. It has been a while since I posted here. Figured I would come on and show you some autocross videos that I got this year and last. I have only seen a couple other Mercedes at a few events over the past couple years. It is a shame. It seems other sports cars have a much bigger following when it comes to, really, racing in general. Hope you like the videos.

Nice Video,
It is a lot harder than it looks, A lot of fun and will not harm the car if you are prepared. I love it and would like to see more Mercedes in the sport of Autocross or SCCA sanctioned events. In street trim the CLK 55 is class B with many driving options to enhance the effort.
I am going back in December when time permits, Thanks for sharing that with us.

It is definitely harder than it looks. And it is tons of fun. B Stock is a tough class with some of the newer cars in the class like the Shelby GT500. I have a feeling that next season the car will be in some kind of street class though.

The Shelby is in the 700 plus horsepower range of sports car, remember an autocross event is normally graded on driver skill and car ability.
The last Porsche event I attended and participated in was September and was won by an EVO. (go figure)
The Mustang from 2010 and on will be a rival in drag to the MB 55. Sports car heritage and driving attributes are common stance for the 55.
Autocross educates one to maneuver and react in defensive and offensive circumstances. If you are a player to win the time of the day, you will learn to drive quite well and faster in the street.
