'14 E500 Coupe

Chain tensioner

Is it drived by oil pressure or spring load? There is a tiny hole under the hexagon head but what is purpose of that?

What part didn't you understood? Is the tensioner tightening the chain by useing oil pressure or useing that spiring which is inside the bolt? Is it hydraulical or mechanical?
