clk 270cdi buzzing noise
Hi All,
I have just bought a Mercedes clk 270cdi. I can hear a its like a exhaust blowing noise from back of engine on low acceleration and disappear when speed up.
also after I turned the engine off there is a buzzing noise for about 2 seconds near coolant reservoir tank. what I can is there is a small black unit with two black hose connected to it.
can you please help with this issue.

Always been a fan of performance diesel engines, but five cylinders, not so much. I am a little confused, is yours a five cylinder or a V six cylinder?

This is a typical characteristic for the later CDI, I have read some fixes for this in other forums and was a relatively easy fix.
I would suggest searching the Diesel forums though. I am a fan of 603,606 L6 Turbo.
