clk55 w208 amg idling and accelerating issue. please help!!!
hi guys
having a problem on my w208 clk55 amg all started after i cleaned the very dirty throttle body please check the videos and if anyone had this problem or any tips and advise would be very much appreciated
the idling acceleration problem is it doesnt do more than 4500 rpm and after 4000 it starts misfiring badly that it shakes the car
also the idling is rough the car can run fine for sometime and then you can feel the revs pushing up and you put it in neutral or in parking and the rev is playing up and down between 15-2000 rpm
so far i changed the o2 sensors maf sensor air filter cleaned the TB
the first link is for the bad idling video
the second is for the acceleration problem
any tips and advise would be very much appreciated

here with update guys ive been told that the engine is design that way not to go over 4000rpm on idling and the rough idling is the throttle body position sensor readjusting itself after cleaning
anything else guys?
thanks

There is no problem with your 4500RPM shaking. This is you redline. It's tuned this way. You have to retune the ECU in order to remove this but I wouldn't. It's launch control plus it helps keep your transmission from taking 6000RPMS on launch.
Per your other problem. Thats a little more complicated. Your problem with the idling came from you cleaning the throttle body and your problem is with the throttle body now. Its a electrical and mechanical problem. Your TPS is no where close to you throttle body.

just updating guys one of a very well known indies here in uk advised the resetting turning the key to number 2 position (ignition on , no start) and leaving it for 2-3 minutes and he said if everything is ok with TB and TPS that should reset it and bring it back to normal
and it did)))))) looks everything fine with TB and TPS
thanks to all of you guys who replied here
