3 hours left. Reserve lowered to $41,501. Next bid takes it home!
A while back I had a number of guys offering $40 & $41 and one looking at it for $42,500. Is the resale market really THIS poor? Last guy on eBay didn't take the oppotruinty for the $1.00 bump to $41,501 so I still have this (as of right now). C'Mon guys this is a NICE car. What's up?
Newbie
Very short warranty, no Comand, winter season, relatively high miles (compared to what's available)
If you wait much longer, you'll miss those guys offering 40/41K. That's what the car is worth TOPS right now.
You said the dealers were offering low 40's in trade. I don't understand why you don't take it and get the car you want??

Bbeck - Thanks for your past interest but those guys are EXACTLY the ones I'm looking for. The car is available at that price. It's just nobody stepping up to the plate to solitify their offers (Heck the guy on eBay only needed to bid one more dollar for christs sake!). The dealer is offerring $40K but I really don't want to spend another $14K on the car (2003 745Li with only 10K miles). What I really want to do now is get out of the car and have until next spring to decide what I REALLY want. If the dealer had a car I could swap for (say a 2003 E320), then maybe it would be an easier choice. Almost all other dealers cars are less than mine and few (2004 Acura TL) are willing to trade and give me cash. While there are a few 2001's was less miles they also are posting a Buy It Now of $45-$46K (Their premium for the miles)
MBWorld Fanatic!
After the auction closed, did you email your bidders, starting with the highest bid and tell them you would accept their price?
Tried that with two of them. One stated that all he was able to afford was a '98 320 with high miles ($17K)! WTF was he doing even bidding on mine then? Haven't heard anything back yet from the highest bidder. Another was MMgrad and he was just helping me out by getting the bidding started. I'm starting to think that eBay may not be an appropriate channel for this car... Going over to Autotrader to lower the ask to $41K
