Bosch pads...any thoughts? Need to change out pads and rotors on my 2002 AMG Cabriolet.
Not prefer to go with Bosch,
if you don't want to go with OEM, "Jurid/ATE/TRW/Textar", these are great brands to go with....

Having owned, showed and raced many Benz's through the years, for regular street driving, stay with originals. My cars are always fitted with Porterfield Pads; Carbon Kevlar. @ Versions: R-4 is for pure racing. Very noisy, difficult to get used to. However, I would and do use R4-S Same Pads, slightly different compound. Tey are incredible. Smooth as sillk, no fade, 155 - 0 is OMG fast. And they last. Andy Porterfield is the owner, founder. A real live racer. Always ask for a ddiscount, mention Mercedes Club. Prices are right! I have a set in the garage for my CLK550 with Centric High Carbon Content, slotted rotors. Good Luck!. Always replace your fluid. Pentossin is now making a very low viscosity fluid with a high boiling point. Brake Fluid ain't just for brakes anymore. Too much tech! Garbles my weak mind!

I am sorry for you all squeak-victims !! I am another one too!!
I installed on perfect discs new pads: they keep squeaking,
tried ALL ways to fix, dismounted three times!
at he end I realize it is due to the material of the pads.
I can only say: avoid SIMER and XPAD brand pads like hell !!!!!!!
