i'm just curious cause im looking to buy 245s for the front and 265s for the back on 18's. i've heard that 235 is max width for the front, so i just wanna double check.

Mach430 has 245 up front, so you may want to ask him directly about any work needed and what his exact setup is.

Yeah, not all 245's are created equal. I couldn't make Pilot Sport 245's fit my 208 but it's not an AMG which I hear have rolled fenders.

That is my setup, with no modifications for the fender - works well - looks great - I just ordered 20mm wheel spacers as well,

I've had 245s in the front of my CLK55 at various times with no rubbing problems. By that I mean that it only rubs on extreme bumps or bumps at very high speed cornering. I feel this is not a problem for every day driving.

I have mounted a new set of 245s that are smaller diameter than I have tried in the past, and expect this to alleviate nearly all rubbing.
