2001 CLK55 oil or fluid leaking inside cabin rear floor
Has anyone experienced this problem of fluid not sure if motor oil or hydraulic fluid, but rear floor behind passenger seat is soaked with some type of oil leaking from somewhere settling inside auto it is a coupe?

I'm stumped on this one. What's the history behind the mysterious fluid soaked floor? Did it just appear? Did you check from under the car? Any noticeable fluid loss from engine compartment? The only thing I can think of that is that close to the rear floor is rear end gear oil.
