Hi,
I am looking to lower the 2004 CLK 55 but dn;t know what supspenion is good?? I don't want to down grade the AMG suspension... The reason I gonna lower the car is I gonna put on the 19" wheels instead the factory 17" wheels.... Thank for helping...

I had my 03 CLK55 lowered with the Brabus springs, but I didn't upgrade the shocks, coz the OEM AMG shocks are good already and I don't want to waste it before it wears out. I also have the 19" wheels, 235/35/19 in front and 275/30/19 in rear and they look great after the lowering. I don't recommend you to try the H&Rs, coz it's just too soft for this beast and it doesn't give much response when you do quick corners or on the highway.

Wow. Post more pics of your car, please. How is the ride with that setup?

Nah, dealers never do those things, even my friend is the manager in the service department. What they might say is "don't try to void your warranty, let it gets over first."

I just go my car lowered with H&R. At first I was kinda worried about the ride quality, but my guy told me that if i was not going to cut the springs i would be ok. I currently have H&R's with a 1.5 drop and the ride is smooth. Its not as bad as i thought it would be, and the height of the ride with my 19's look perfect. I really wanted brabus, but the length of drop was not low enough for me. Besides, brabus springs cost already like around $480 not installed.
