R1 Concepts 2-Piece Rotors?

Hey guys, we're thinking about designing our own 2-piece rotors to fit on these AMG cars but not sure just yet..My question to you all is are you willing to purchase 2 piece rotors if we were to design these for the CLK55 and CLK63 AMG? Please let me know! It would be best if everyone could reply back with a yes, thumbs up, or like each person does a count down from 1-?? if you know what I mean. Hope to see what you guy think!

This is a interesting concept. My question is what is the application that the two piece rotors are designed for? Why would I want these over vented, slotted and or cross drilled rotors? Any sense on price point vice the one piece rotors that you offer?

I think the choices right now are slim to none...so any additional choices would be great. However, the price point would have to be good because MB rotors are pretty good and pretty much on par, price wise, with other aftermarket 2 piece rotors.

Just replaced my front's with $600/each OEM 2 piece discs. It would have been nice to have some aftermarket options that were guaranteed to fit

Thanks for all your replies. If you haven't noticed, we only sell 1 piece rotors and are thinking about selling 2 piece rotors pretty soon which is why I wanted to ask you all. The only information I know is that these 2 piece rotors will have aluminum hats, not steel. We don't know what the price will be yet but it will be competitive pricing.

We don't know the weight and everything else as well since we are still in the early stages of making these rotors. Unfortunately, we have chosen to use the C63 AMG for now because the front rotors are compatible with a lot of the other AMG cars. If we ever decide to make these rotors for your specific vehicle, I'll let you all know.

I'm currently on the hunt for w209 CLK55 replacement rotors. As Megacrazy has already pointed out - options are slim to none - so if you're able to make a set that are competitive with OE in regards to performance and price point then I'm all in.
