NEED HELP!!!!
Looking to buy a 2003 CLK55 with 100k miles -problem is I pulled a carfax and it shows 8 owners! Technically it has 6 true owners -- car appears solid and no accidents or mileage issues reported to carfax --- have many of you would buy anyways? need advice ASAP - looking to leave in the morning - Thx in advance!

Has the car been through an auction with any of the owners? Carfax will not show accidents if the car is sent to an auction prior to repair and this leaves the "new" owner with a non-accident car.

I don't know for the US but in France so many owners seems to appear as if the car is used a little then resell when some money as to be spent. Uselly this kind of car is owned by passionate especially for the second or third one. 6 in 11 years is really a lot.
Are the services done according to MB guidance ? T

If the car checks out, I would not worry about it.
I am the fourth owner of my CLK55, two brothers had it, then sold it to the guy I bought it from. It is cleanest CLK55 I have ever seen in person, and still is.
Also had a Z06 that had 7 owners. Again, it was just a clean low mileage example, and a great car.
