TOP PROBLEM HLP 2002 MERCEDES CLK320
I HAVE A 2002 MERCEDES CLK 320 I BOUGHT IT WITH THE TOP NOT WORKING I REPLACED THE MODUAL BECAUSE THE RED TOP LIGHT STAYS ON THE WINDOWS OR MIRRORS ETC DIDN'T WORK. NOW SCENCE I HAVE REPLACED THE MODUAL THE WINDOWS WORK AND MIRRORS ETC. BUT THE RED LIGHT STAYS ON AND WHEN I PUSH THE BUTTON AGAIN NOTHIG HAPPENS NO SOUND NOTHING. CAN ANYONE HELP!

The module was not bad. The light will stay on if the top is not fully opened or fully closed. Or if there is a switch indicating such. Sometimes if these cars sit a while, like over a winter, latches loosen up and you need to manually open or close them to reset all the latches.
Stop wasting money throwing parts at it and take to dealer for proper diagnosis, the system is complex with many limit switches and you need proper test equipment to diagnose it right. Maybe you can return the module if you're lucky but I doubt it.
