FS: W208 Cold Air Intake - 1 off from 320 intake tube
Anyone wanted to make a cold air intake and get the air off the top of the engine? This fits perfectly. I had it on my own vehicle. I used the same air mass sensor from my vehicle and cut/extended the wires on the harness to reach the front passenger side of my engine bay.
Easy to do, gives a few extra HP, especially when down the road. You could cut a head shield to fit as well and keep the compartment behind the headlight shielded from engine heat for even better results.One tab that holds the tube tight to the engine/throttle body is broken, so you get to install creatively.
No idea what this is worth, just needs to go. Make me an offer!! WooHoo!
And please don't tell me it's "ghetto." I get it - this is "home engineered" but works like a charm! Not to mention that cold air intakes (away from the top of the engine) are few and far between for our cars!
