Has anyone attempted it or does anyone know if the W209 Halogen headlapms can be retrofitted?? If so, I'd like to take a stab at retrofitting my OEM halogen headlamps with a kit from The Retrofit Source ...

I'm confused with your question as I never said I had Xenons and was retrofitting to halogens ... its the other way around - I have a set of OEM Halogen headlamps that I'd like to retrofit to Bi-Xenons with a kit from TRS

I wouldn't convert original hi-beams anything else because they provide very good point style long distance beam pattern. Normal bi-xenon projector got verry wide beam and that's not ideal in hi-beam use.
I allso made a retrofit into my W208 housings. Evo-X bi-xenon projector fitted into original housings with W211 shroud. Fluttered midle lanse removed.
