will 17" wheels from a w210 sport fit a W208?

I am looking to purchase a W208 CLK55 AMG and would like to know if my 17" E430 Sport wheels (w210-1998) have the proper offet to fit a w208 CLK AMG. I plan on using the w210 wheels for winter tires.

Thoughts?

W208 is 245/40 17 and 225/45 17,
There is not much room in the front for compromising.

What size is the e430?

currently have 235/45/17, might switch to a 225/45/17 for a winter tire. Non stagger setup.

That might work on the W208 but most of the guys park them in the garage for the winter.

I would double check the offset, there used to be a wheel fitment chart somewhere. I have for early 124/126 AMG chart.

Tire rack and tire kingdom have rim dimensions for reference. The offset will place the tire under the car without having to roll fenders or grind calipers for clearance.

Careful- be safe

I'm running 235/45/17 up front on 19s.. 255 in the rear. You should have no problems fitting those 17s on your 208..
