While driving today, my car suddenly lost power when I floored the gas peddle. After like 4 to 6 seconds it finally responded very slowly and gradually picked up speed. It also won't down shift when you floor it. It will accelerate if you feather the gas pedal but as soon as you push down with any effort it literally stalls. anyone had this issue? What was the cause?

Fuel Pump? Put a pressure gauge on the Schrader valve.
Pull the back seat, remove inspection cover to expose fuel tank, and check for burnt electrical connectors.

It ended up being a bad TPS. Threw code, reset drove normal for 10 minutes and failed again. Replaced and all is good.
