Exhaust advice

Hows it going all? New to the board and was just looking for some advice. I own a 2002 CLK55 AMG with just over 120K mi and stock everything. I purchased the car 3 years ago and Ive got to say this is the best car I have ever owned. I get compliments on it every other day from random people and every day I drive around, I see heads turning. So back to the topic...I was wanting to upgrade the exhaust and was just curious on what I should do. I would like a little deeper, more aggressive sounding exhaust but have no idea what to go with. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would start with headers- long tubes which also remove the primary cats. Then if you want more look at deleting resonators.

Eisenmann Race is where it's at.

None for now
The best "bang for buck" mod is a muffler or a resonator delete. The muffler delete would be noticeably louder than a resonator delete, but either one should give you what you're looking for. Shouldn't be more than $50 at a good shop.

Would that be the same thing as going with straight pipes? I thought I heard straight pipes would cause the computer to bring up an error messege on the dash.

You'll only run into errors if you delete the cats. That being said I would try to find an Eisenmann race exhaust. Or a resonator delete, or both!
