Normal Operating Temp
Hi,
Just wondering what everyone's w209 CLK55 normal operating temp is.
Mine seems high to me but its always stayed the same, after coolant flushes, thermostat changes, etc
Mine runs between 90-98 sometimes hits 100.

^^^ +1 I just drove from San Diego to Scottsdale, AZ and back to San Diego. Outside temp ranging from 75 in San Diego to 105-110ish pretty much the whole drive through the desert.... AC Blasting the whole way down the 10. She ran at about 90-95 and was super efficient with averaging almost 25mpg with cruise at 75-80mph the whole way. I have noticed I get better fuel mileage when my motor is running a little warmer. i.e 95 instead of 80 like it normally is with no A/C on and in San Diego temps.
