Question about our rear view mirror part number

Hey Guys,
The part number on my rear view mirror is A 203 810 32 17. My mirror is gray but i'd like a black one. The only black one i can find has part number A 203 810 12 17. Does anyone know if these are interchangeable? Wondering not only about fitment but connections/electrical as well.

Thanks for your help.

the shop was going to paint it at first, but they told me eventually it will start chipping. I figure might as well install a black one if i can.

What kind of suede did you use in your cls?

the shop had a selection on site. I didnt get alcantera because it was a lot more for the look. I got one that was a bit thicker and had a small foam backing. when it was all installed it felt really nice and thick. everyone loved touching the headliner of my car.
total price was about 400$ including labor materials and paint of all plastic

I took apart the headliner, but left it in the car because i couldnt get it out (cls design is pretty unique lol)

Im not doing alcantara either, i'm doing Nova Suede. Shop was saying its just as good, but a little cheaper. I hope they're right.

I'm going to wrap the sun visors in suede also. I already picked up black grab handles, just need to find a mirror that works otherwise ill paint it...
