I am on the hunt for a SILVER CLK55 AMG. Preferably near the Midwest but I realize that is a tall order given the specifics. I currently have a 2004 CL55 AMG and would LOVE to trade if at all possible. I would like to get something under 80k but don't mind seeing a few more miles because I'm quite comfortable turning wrenches on these cars.

I feel like im making a lateral move here. On one hand I love the raw power and interior comfort of the CL. On the other hand, my previous car was a CLK500 which still had a decent amount of power but handled MUCH better. I also much prefer the styling of the CLK to the CL (pre-facelift). Moreover, in the next few months my first born will arrive and I need something less prone to costly repairs (the notorious ABC system) in my garage.

Upgrade/downgrade is subjective
