Looking to get 6 speed manual trans done by renntech. What do you guys think? Anyone experience with this or similar renntech conversions?

Was looking at buying a CLK60 with the renntech transmission swap, however CA will not register the car because of the swap and you need a special registration. other than that its a great swap. only drove it in the parking lot.

How would you compare shifting of that manual vs other manuals you have driven? Do you know how much it sold for? Who was selling it? I might see if it makes sense trying to buy it instead of doing swap.

This was years ago. It was in California, guy was selling it through a dealer at a discount because he bought it out of state and was unable to get it registered in CA. Felt good, again only drove it in the parking lot. as it was not registered. sorry couldn't be more help.

What TX was used behind the mighty 5.5.

Mostly setup was taken from a clk200 manual. Not sure what transmission they used.
