convertible roof mod
i was driving one day and the weather started to turn bad and i raised back the roof. problem is that you always have to stop to do it.
isn't there some switch or fuse that should be pulled out so you can raise the roof or lower it while you're driving? i saw something similar with a honda s2000 convertible. thanks !!

There probably is but there is also probably a reason you have to do it at a stop. I could imagine things not lining up with the pressure of the wind against the inside of the roof.

There is a kit maker for this The only issue with the W208 is the Hand Latch.
Driving while reaching for it and locking it is a problem.
If we mounted a servo motor in place of the latch the world would be perfect. Hmmmm.
Better yet would be 2 locking servo motors in place of the captain hook catches. delete the hand lock all together.
The tops tension cables would have to be functioning perfect and adjusted equally.
