How to remove and replace TPS on 2002 CLK55?
How do you remove and replace the TPS or throttle position sensor on a 2002 CLK55? I want to install the part located in the left/driver's engine subcompartment of my 2002 CLK55, next to the brake master cylinder. I want to do it myself if I can, but need detailed instructions. Thanks in advance!

I think that you are referring to the crankshaft position sensor. If you have thin arms, it's much easier ! There is just one bolt holding it in place on the 430/55. need a #8 torx socket. You need to do it really by feel. There is an electrical connection that comes off first and then the bolt. Feel it's position before totally removing...can't see what you're doing once it's out.
Get an oem one from autohauz...about $50 http://www.autohausaz.com/search/pro...id=25@Ignition Parts&gid=7196@Crankshaft Position Sensor.
With the 430 or 55, you need a 1/4 drive with a short extension. A regular size socket will not fit securely onto the bolt (the top of the cps does not allow a standard socket to fit)...link below

Once you do one, you realize how easy it is....first time you are totally blind...so go slow
