headlights blinding people!
hi guys,
I'm having a problem with my headlights. When I turn the key in the ignition, the headlights dip, then they come back up again to their original height (when first switched on) which must be too high as I keep getting flashed by people!
Can't seem to find any buttons or dash menus to adjust this.
Anything I can do to fix this aside from visiting the garage for another expensive repair?

Park close to a wall at a nice 90-degree angle and open your hood.
On top of the plastic headlight housing, right between your low and high beams, you'll see a screw. That's your vertical adjustment.
Figure out which way to turn it to lower the beam, lower it just a bit.
Lower the other beam and make sure the two cutoffs overlap exactly.
Go for a test drive, repeat if needed.
Keep in mind that what may seem like a minor height adjustment on the wall translates to a lot of depth on the road.
That's how you do a quick and dirty adjustment. A professional adjustment is best left to a shop.
And let the levelling system do it's job. It doesn't compensate for poorly aligned headlights. It watches for changes in the vehicle stance.
